Not quite sure what the V5 would say! Prob on a Q plate unless its been tacked on the back of a van/pick shell/chassis.

Seem to remember seeing this on the Minor Mania siteor somewhere some time ago in Purple. Needs a bit of work but looks like fun!

I think that is hideous.
I like Minors and Capri's (had a 1.6 LS for years) but not together.
Anyway it'd be classed as a "cut and shut" thus under the current DVLA rules should be Q reg with a SVA applicable.
Hopefully someone will buy for just the parts and scrap the bodyshell !

Yes that doesn't look very nice!

The Ford V4 fits nicely under the bonnet though and looks good.

They were used in Zephyr 4, Corsair, early Capri, early Consul (Granada type) and MKI Transit.
In UK there was a 1700 & 2000 version but Germany also had smaller capacities.
It was replaced with the Pinto which came out in early 70's.
That means it's an old engine that parts are hard to source plus the donor vehicle are scarce.
I had a 1976 Saab 95 with a 1500cc Taunus version. Quite good torque but very rough and quite thirsty for engine size.
The weight would also be a serious issue in a Minor.

My mate had a V4 minor about 20 years ago - Corsair 2000e. It was an easy engine to fit, but was quite heavy and not particularly quick. There are better options, but it would be 'different' nowadays.

Well in that case its possibly the worst "custom" I've seen. It just doesn't look good. Have to agree with the above poster who said the best thing would be to break it for the good parts it has.
