Ideas for where to place wanted adverts /

Post by paulhumphries »

I'm not having any success in sourcing a post '76 Marina / Ital flexiplate, torque converter and bellhousing to use with the Ital engine and BW65 autobox I already have.
I am desperate for an autobox conversion as even a couple of minutes driving my Minor has me in agony (birth defect / slight deformed leg / knee & hip joint problems !)
Luckilly the main familly car is an auto and I still have my previous, modern, auto car prior to the Minor which I haven't got around to selling yet so can remain mobile but it looks as if the Minor is going to end up unused.

I've posted messages on various groups, including Marina Owners Club but haven't had any replys.

Anyone suggestions for other places I could place wanted adverts ?

Paul Humphries.

Have you tried http://www.retro-rides.com/

There is everything on there - a very active site.
Or of course Ebay - you'd probably get a complete car pretty cheap.

Hi Paul, in the past the 2 guys from the Marina club circles I have found most helpful are.

Andy Walsingham
chairman@morrismarina.org.uk

And Andy Morris
ajmarina@aol.com

have you tried them.
Cheers
