I'm sure price is vat inclusive, but haven't asked a price for bulk. This isn't a 'homer' price as he has a business to run - like others on here. I'm sure you could get a cheaper price by getting an enthusiastic amateur to do it, but it is a definative price to compare with.
He also does very nice one off billet alloy bits - ideal for that bit of bling for your Minor's Christmas.

On my hubs it didn't fit, I had to have the center hole machined.
The orignal article from the magazine also mentiones that the hub or disc has to be machined.
Maybe the hubs is different depending on model year?

The discs need a center bore of 64.8mm to fit the minor hub.

So - some conflict of information here. I will measure up my spare hubs when at home. Anyone know the diameter of the centre hole in the disc as standard ?

Yer's, just amended my post as I gave the Ford centers, the minor should be 64.8. for the 1000 wheel.

Well the link to the 'brembo' website that lalaw gave earlier the diameter of the hole on the Polo MkI disc is 65mm, so it should fit without any machining.

Well we use 64.8mm for our disc kits, seems to be the norm unless Lars are somehow different.

Hi,
I just ordered a pair of carriers for 30 euro from a fellow NMMK member who had made some extra when he converted his car some years ago.
They has just been cut out so I have to drill the holes my self.

I measured a Minor hub tonight - the centre section is 68.66 mm at the edges, but is machined with a nice radius, so any disc being fitted over this would need to be 69 mm and then tapered away to clear the radius on the hub. The 73 mm sounds like it will clear nicely - and will just be located/centered on the slightly wrong pcd wheel stud holes - which being slightly larger diameter will fit quite snugly over the studs but only actually touching them on one spot each. I didn't have time to investigate tonight - but as I was fitting new pads to my Punto front discs they looked very similar to the VW set up - and may be another possible source of discs.

They have now.... it was to difficult to mount without the holes.. :)
Seems like the problem with the caliper will be solved, seller might have another one so that I can have it replaced.

To quote bmcecossehe The disc may be slightly thicker than drum - hence slightly longer studs may be required.
If you wanted to fit longer studs to take up the differance in thickness, you could use studs from a rear axle of a minor, as they are about 5 mm longer as they have to go through the halfshaft aswell. I am watching this thred very closely and can anyone tell me how to get some of these brackets Pat
