Can anyone tell me if the front edge of front crossmember and front edge of flitch plates should be in a staight line, or if the flitchplates kick upwards?
Could do with looking at that new shell at Derby, if its still there.
Ian.

Let me try and clarify the question.
While working on front of engine this week I took the front panel and the radiator off. I was left with the front edge of the front crossmember, which of course is horizontal. Then on each end of this are the filler pieces. ( Ah thats where I have confused you all, I called them flitch plates in original post)
Are these filler pieces in line horizontally with crossmember or do they kick up towards flitchplates.
Hope thats easier to understand.
