Good idea. More suitable for me would be some handlebar end plugs from my bike :-)

I have fitted a pair of door mirrors to the stainless steel triangular piece at the front corner of the quarterlight. I had a couple of spare stainless triangles, so it didn't matter about drilling them. I kept the originals intact. The mirrors themselves are round ones from MGM spares, about £15 the pair if I remember rightly. Easy job to fit them, and effective in use.
