Anyone have any idea what this would have been off? It has no mixture adjusting nut, but instead mixture is adjusted via the linkage to a screw up by the idle screw.

It's an odd-ball - not seen one like that before. Ask Burlen what it's from - does it have a 'tag' anywhere (often under float bowl screw) with a ref number ? Should be ok on a Minor just the same
Thanks for your reply. Burlen don't list it. The tag is AUD 690. I have asked an ex Jaguar employee, not a clue as to its origin. Also I asked a friendly Service Manager at Subaru who used to work for BMC Technical in Australia. He has much experience in things BMC but this was the first time he had seen one like this.
As a matter of interest, the choke linkage moves much more freely than the usual one. It will be going on a minor.
