temp'gauge

hi all, a little information a on temp' gauge please. my moggy is positive earth therefore would i need to get a positive earth gauge or would any gauge do, and what about the sender unit as well.
your remarks would be most helpfull.

You could convert the car to -ve earth, see technical tips.
OR buy a mechanical gauge, which just uses a light, so can be either +ve or -ve earth
