Front fog and spot light positions

Post by paulhumphries »

I've got loads of "period" accessories that I've collected over the years and intend fitting some to my Minor.
Still in their boxes, priced in £:s:d, is a pair of new Halogen spot and fog lights complete with padded, chequer, covers :-)
I intend fitting these and wonded about positions.
Not the actual fastening on the car but rather relative to road.
Anyone tell me what is normal - spot or fog on kerb side ?
I've debated the pros & cons of both choices over the years and still cann't decide myself what is best.

Thanks.

Paul Humphries.

IIRC if you are going for one of each, then the fog goes on the n/s to illuminate the kerb in dense fog.
