My new moggy

Just got a new traveller after forty years since the last one.
1970 in trafalgar blue. been in a garage for 15 years and it started in just five minutes and drove well
I am new member and need to know where I can get the rubber seal for the rear doors. what sealant do I use between the wood and metal and where can I get new window chanel liners, is it easy to fix them? is the paint color available from usual stores and what is it called now.

Well, the best thing to do is join (rejoin?) the Owners Club, if you've not already done so. I'm led to believe you can even do it online now! ;)

You will be able to get paint from many of the Minor parts suppliers - have a look in the traders section of the main site. Halfrauds could probably mix it, but the specialists will be able to supply it readily.

New window channel liners should be available from the same parts places.

Always nice to hear of someone returning to the fold!!

thanks for the welcome and I have joined and YES on line But my eleven year old daughter says the moggy is so UNCOOL whatever that meens

OH! Well, I have to say, she's in the minority! There are loads of younger Minor owners and I get loads of kids say how cool my car is... There again, as a student teacher I have a captive audience... but even so. All I have to do is make them realise that the black, chrome-laden four-door bubble isn't a taxi! Oh, how I wish those kids could read!

As for parts suppliers, you might like to try:

East Sussex Minors
The Morris Minor Centre (Bham)
Charles Ware's Morris Minor Centre

oh, the list goes on.

Anyway, I hope that this helps. Must say, Blodwyn is a fab name for a Moggy!!
