Steering wheel horn button

Post by zippy500 »

I have gone back to the original steering wheel. (come witth mountey on )how does the connection fit back on the horn button.

The centre pin is flat. Is there some kind of fat spade crimp that fits on the side?

Cheers

It normally has a plastic spacer with a spring held in place by a C washer in the middle and contact is made when the button is pressed.

The wire has a bare bullet connector which pokes through the plastic spacer and then has the circlip round it. The horn push has a central brass contact on the back which touches the end of the bullet connector.
