is it realy as easy as this little minor manual says to remove the halfshaft ?
as my drivers rear wheel rocks like a wheel bearing loose on a fwd car
if it is that easy how much is the bearing and where from
I dont have an haynes just a couple of old owner manual type things
Yes - the half shaft comes off in minutes. The big nut may be loose - it may just need tightening - but fit a new bearing and seals (and paper gasket and O ring) to be on the safe side.
Just joking you - but I do have filing cabinet full of virtually every spare part I could possibly need ! Snap them up at classic car shows when the price is right. Latest - Lucas B90 alternator in excellent working order £1 !!
