)I decided to replace them since I had a kit in store and so replaced the fulcrum pin too. The hard bit was getting the pivot out of the lever arm, it was absolutely solid. Is this normal and what do others do??

I serviced Maggie today and in the process noticed that the Torsion bar bushes on the off side were shot. (That'll be the creaking noise then )
