can people confirm the electric on moggys for me has im used to working with neg earth....does it mean if i wire something like a radio or something in does earth(black) goto the postive and postive wire (Red) goes the earth,if you know what i mean...just so i dont blow the complete loom up when i come to do some rewiring on the restro

Yes, except you need to be careful to isolate the chassis of the radio from the body, and make sure the antenna doesn't connect electrically to the body either.

PLEASE convert the car to negative earth if fitting auxillary bits and pieces. It is a minefield trying to isolate radios etc. There are plenty of past threads showing the 'easy way' to do it.

ok i see the section how to convert to neg earth,other thing is once its been coverted does the connections to the ie flashers,lights etc have to be changed around to the other way or will they work the same,and also i assume i could take away the dymno out and convert it to alternator (mini one i assume ?)..which would be good has im sure i have a couple spare :D
