indicator stalk bulb replacement

Post by tickman »

does anyone know if it is possible to swap the bulb for an LED?
mine has just gone and about to use my spare.(do not know the age of the bulb so it could have lasted for years)
does anyone have trouble with them blowing constantly or is your bulb reliable?

They are pretty reliable the only one I have replaced in recent years is because I broke it while trying to remove while doing something else at the same time.

bulbs

Post by Willie »

If you suffer from continuously blowing bulbs then it is likely that your charging system is cutting in at too high a voltage. The Minor bulbs usually
last for a very long time (when you access the instrument bulbs they usually
look like antiques)!
