van body four clip fittings in an oblong pattern?

Hi i have picked up a van box ...each side has 4 clip fittings ...what are they??? were they for some kinda advertising boards??

they did have advertising on the sides, I have seen those in Russels book.

Well both the Royal Mail and Post Office Telephone ones had advertising boards on them so might of some of the other utilities.

also the position of the message board clips will tell you if it was royal mail or engineers van
