I have the falcon one (same as cam i think - from birmingham MM) and haven't had any issues with it thus far. I know Cam did though.
The maniflow systems get a great rep on all the mini tuning boards but are tad expensive. Although those I know with them insist you do get what you pay for in this instance. It depends how you value you own time I guess.

Look at the Birmingham Centres website the prices are there.Just curious to see the price difference even if doesnt get good reviews.
Correct and if you speak to Maniflow they will tell you reason for the Mild Steel manifold is that they couldnt design a good one in stainless.Am I right in saying that although the maniflow is indeed expensive it also steel not stainless.

Aye, Kevins right, makes it less brittle doesn't it?
I have not had any probs with my Falcon and I believe that even though Cam did the parts were replaced - although there is still the hassle involved. Maybe a bad batch? Birmingham morris minor parts centre sell them and to be honest, the price difference between falcon and maniflow is not massive.

The trouble with a lot of stainless systems is that they are of inferior grade stainless. Many are welded using just standard mig wire rather than stainless. Try and find a system made from 321 stainless, with stainless welding of both the system and silencer boxes.
Don't understand why Maniflow cannot just make the existing mild system, in stainless.

I believe Cams problems related to the shape of the system as much as the cracking experienced with his manifold. My system (bought at least 1 year after Cam's last system was supplied to him) is also badly shaped. both sections are too long; the front pipe has been shortened but the box is still millimeters from the crossmember. The rear sticks out about 6" from the back of the bumper overider.although there is still the hassle involved. Maybe a bad batch
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

If you're bothered about how it looks, you could fit one of those fancy chrome end pieces after cutting it down.

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.
