changed the oil and filter recently and now i have a small oil drip coming from the end of the filter retaining bolt.
i think the leak is coming through the rubber seal in the bottom of the filter outer case where the bolt goes through - is this part available?

Box of very useful rubber washers etc in Poundland has a selection of all shapes and sizes - intended for sealing leaking taps and so on - but has many other uses. Well worth the Pound!! Very well may have something to suit - certainly worth having on the shelf for emergencies - both auto and domestic.

or for making flat rubber washers in an emergency - try an inner tube, but you'll need to get a piece that doesn't have ribs on it.
A cut up inner tube, a few pieces of gasket paper, some hose clips and a bit of steel pipe (wrapped with tape if a bigger diameter is needed) and if all else fails - some chemical metal! That would cure nearly all emergency leak problems
