Boot Lock

Post by Relfy »

Help Please!

At the moment Wilberforce has two door locks (driver and boot) each with a seperate key. The ignition lock has yet another! And the passenger door doesn't have a key atall. :-?

So I bought 4 locks. One is fitted in the ignition. Two will soon be in each door and the 4th, the "easy" one, was going to go in the boot....

I got this far (quote someone else's past thread):
Once you get the handle out, you need to remove the handle bezel. Carefully lever off it's retaining collar & remove the spring underneath it.
Then there's a pin which needs to be knocked out. Once this is out, the barrel will come out.
Make sure you don't lose the sliding locking block when you strip it down.
...EXCEPT for the bit where the barrel comes out. It wont budge even with pulling with the key inside.
What am I missing here? :(
