Anyone know of any good garages who know what a Minor should sound like when its happy? The closer to Glasgow the better!

Sorry dont know any up there.what a Minor should sound like when its happy?
But to answer your question, a little bit noisy, a little bit squeeky, a little bit farty and a character all its own and lots of fun.
Cheers

Its not absolutely necessary to go to a Moggie garage to get good work/ service done. Just ask around for an "old boy" type mechanic who has a good reputation, and who when you bring the car in reminisces about the Moggies he used to run and what good cars they are.
Cheers John - all comments IMHO

Just possible radiator/water pump/thermostat problems (that I'm not certain are problems!). Has a leaky heater control valve too, but will (try to) change that myself. Looking for a decent garage with a tuned ear who can hear it and know if anything else 'sounds' wrong! I'm not sure of the noises I hear (yet) and wouldn't mind it getting looked over just to check it! I'm in Glasgow - brought it through Bellshill the other day - not far from you!
Thanks
