Drive out of Bracknel on a Friday afternoon and anything without 150bhp and ABS is a mobile roadblock. In fact anything with a lesser badge becomes a target as GT's take on GLS's and GLS's take on LX's in the traffic grandprix. Mogs are no exception - it's just more obvious when you're behind the wheel.

Rush hour is the same pretty much anywhere in the country when nearby a major town / city. Too many people in a rush on too few roads leads to a more agressive driving style, and people in a rush don't waste time thinking about the other driver's space.

Erm, Bracknell is doubly unfortunate - first reason is that a large German Car Company has its headquarters near where I work - you know the one with the badge entitling the owner to exclusive use of the right hand lanes on motorways!). One of the company perks is a substantial discount on its own brand, so there's lots of high performance cars around, using the local roads as a test track.
There's also a large supermarket distibution centre.
On Fridays everyone seems to be heading for the M3 or M4 as fast as possible.... now I can overtake a loaded 32 tonne artic; but not the guys who want to drive up my exhaust pipe!
Peetee - give me a wave if you seem me on the A329!
