replacing lettering on heater

anyone know of a good way to replace the white lettering on my recon heater ? i was thinking along the lines of some sort of template i could spray white through.

also where can i get hold of a heater plastic knob, mine's missing.

I repainted my heater cover in gloss black and used Letraset type lettering which was perfect. However it would look a bit of a mess if you had the original crackle finish because it needs a flat surface.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

also where can i get hold of a heater plastic knob, mine's missing.
They are often missing and I dont know if they are still available seperately but the earlier mini ones use the same knob if thats any help.
