my 1098 housing points to the ex manifold, is this nessasry in these hot weather, it runs a bit lumpy in 2nd ,stuck in traffic, although i set timing and mixture purly by listening to the engine on idle :oops: , steve

Just slacken it off, turn the intake away from the exhaust, and retighten.

Colder the bettter - although under the bonnet in traffic - it's all going to be hot!

well ,discovered tonite, no oil in dashpot :x , and ive removed the intake tubey thing from air filter housing ,c how we go in the morning :D ,steve

The tube often falls off anyway.
