Carpet fasteners?

Would anyone please advice where would these be fixed to the carpet and how many are required for a 2 door saloon or tourer?

The best plan is to locate the exiting studs on the floor (assuming you haven't completely rebuilt it).

My 2 door saloon has (I think - some of the rings have dropped off) 4 per carpet in the corners
