Cyl head removal
Sorry for the very dumb question, but is it necessary to drain the water out of the engine & rad before removing the cylinder head? And how about the oil?

I think either the gasket has gone or the valves are toast on 2 & 3. This is following on from the earlier thread:

The spare head seems OK so I'm going to swap that on and see if it makes any difference.
