Side window and Rear Screen Rubbers

Post by dnac »

Hi, I noticed the other week when it rained that both side windows the rear window rubbers leak on my two door saloon.

I have seen them for sale on the website selling parts, but wondered if its something I could do myself, or do I need specialist tools?.

Thanks

Dave

i've changed them on my convertible but it's an easier job as the curved part of the rubber is built into the frame and is separate.
search for windscreen rubber replacement on the forum search engine, it's not a difficult job, all you need is a piece of string.
i finished mine off with some clear silicone deep inside the rubber to glass joint though, just in case.
