temp gauge flicking

Post by KirstMin »

Hi Guys, hope all is well... been burried in work for a few months but back on the case with a few things on my car...

I have fitted an electrical water temp gauge and wired it to the stabaliser on the back of the speedo (where the fuel gauge gets its live feed). However, I think I may have done something wrong because the gauge works perfectly when I turn on the ignition but only until the fuel gauge reaches its correct reading and then it flicks around. Could it be that I haven't earthed the temp gauge correctly or some other wiring mystery?

Hi,
Have you thought about fitting a solid state stabiliser for your temp gauge?
PM me and I'll give you some details. 8)
