COH Baines

Post by jtd.75 »

Hi 246, I rang Baines this morning and they do not do metal parts only rubber. What I need is the 2 metal upright frame in which to hold the glass in the door ( driver side )

Do you mean the actual window frame or the fabric covered channel that fits inside the frame to help the glass slide correctly?
If you mean the actual metal frame that fits on to the top of the door perhaps you should look for a second hand door on eBay, the tops are usually ok it is the bottoms that are usually gone.
Sorry about the lead on COH Baines they are brilliant for the rubber sections for most cars and I thought they may have had the fabric covered window sliders.
Good luck

Hi Dave, yes I am talking about the metal frame on either side of the glass. I have tried ebay and manage to end up with 3 doors with the bottoms rotten and the metal frames rotten down at the bottom, by the bit that is bolted to the door.
