trafficator switch
anyone has some specs and maybe pics of an original trafficator switch for a 1953 series II please?

Yes that is the correct style switch and it should be near the door under the dash. The red lamp should operate when it's in use.
The only self-cancelling switches are the 4-door type which are different to the simple switch in Onne's picture. They have an 'arm' and no warning lamp. They are on a simple timer and switch themselves off after a certain time.

What colour should the light be anyway? I'va got choice between green and red. Currently green, for better visibility, so there is a chance that I won't forget to turn it back

Well thats a thought Lou, not something I would know about (to young) and I though that you were mere spring chicken compared to me, just shows how wrong I can be (again)it's because of that green plastic shortage after the war

WELL THATS IT how can a site say such things about my beloved.
Morris Minors came from the factory complete with an official BMC Calendar to aid the owner in measuring the car's 0-60 MPH time.
I bet it was written in North Somerset and I am going there this weekend, has anyone got the directions to the UTE Rescue Centre
