hi, i've just bought a new replacement parcel shelf and was wondering what the two small holes (approx. 7mm dia) are for in the leading edge?
also three small holes in a triangler pattern (approx. 10cm apart and approx. 5mm in dia) towards the right hand side?
the 7mm holes line up with similar holes in the metal leading edge, i'm guessing they are for mounting something that requires a more substantial support, instrument or switch maybe.
my metal leading edge has had its covering removed at some stage, how can i replicate the original and what was it, some sort of circular cross-section padding?

The front rail components are available from Newton Commercial.
