I'm fitting an ESM anti-roll bar kit.
Can anyone tell me which war round the 2 end attachments go as the instructions aren't terribly clear. Should the closed end be at the front (looking at them from under the front of the car) or should they be at the back?
thanks for any help

You're right, it's not clear. I plumped to put the closed end facing backward - the logic being that in the event of the bush gripping the bar more than it does the attachment, the worse that could happen is the bush travels towards the front and there is no possibility it goes backwards and falls off altogether.
I have since learned there is a grease specifically designed for rubber that could help should the bush take a liking to the bar.

Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

Further to my previous post, you may well find that you have a problem with the bushes pulling out of the end cups. My advice would be to use rubber grease on the ends of the bar and drill a couple of holes in each cup so you can fit self-tapping screws into the rubber bushes to hold them in place.

I have had the same problem with the bushes pulling out of the attachments which is why I was wondering if they were the wrong way round. I contacted ESM and thy said that the manufacturers have now improved the design and bonded the bushes into the mounted attachment. They're going to send me a replacement set.
