hello folks i have a conv which i'm restoring.
i will have the final colour 2 tone blue or blue and white probably does anyone know of a good set of seats which fit the moggie which are of the modern type with head rests for the front the back i can always recover or spray to match.

The chairman of our local branch has fitted Vauxhall Calibra seats to his 4-door saloon. They are grey leather and apparently very comfortable- they look like a good fit too.
I'd keep the original seats if I were you as some folk prefer original equipment, in case you sell the car in the future.

The backs to modern seats also seem to be quite a bit thicker than Minor ones - something to bear in mind as it might reduce the rear legroom. Personally I find Minor seats perfectly comfy, but each to their own.

I don't find Minor 1000 seats comfy at all as they are far too short for my back and are too upright for me. Series II seats fit me better and look much better too (they look 'designed', not 'cost engineered')
However for modern seats I'd go for Saab or Volvo 480. They are much more bucketed than the average modern seat but everyone is shaped differently and I could (and did) drive all day with those seats.
