I've noticed about 12 inches of rust along the inside of the outer part of the roof guttering. ...
Ist is just a bit of a gentle wire brush....then what...a recommended primer and some traffy blue on top?
All advice gratefully received.

where the gutter meets the roof? How bad is it? Has it rotten right through? I had the same problem a while ago, and wire brushed it, and then I had it painted.

It's not too bad Onne, its on the inside of the outermost part of the guttering. Maybe a swift wire brush and a splatter of paint will do the trick - I just wondered if there was some sort of primer that should go on first.

I'd get i down to absolutely shiny metal, then jenolite a few times and wipe it off after the 30mins, then use a zinc rich primer as the first primer before the filler primer and top coat.
