dont really just needed a new project took a year putting 1800 engine in and as always ( i presumed) more weight beef it up a bit ?????????

the jlh kit basically modernises the minor setup. still retaining the minor swivel pins and trunnions, so i imagine the geometry is largely similar, but with the lower arm made into an A wishbone. the critical bits are getting the sping damper unit as close to the bottom trunnion as possible (as fa...

to be honest if was more knowledgeable about this kind of thing i would make anything to improve or change i see more and more pictures of this jlh kit and its spin offs with bits added and taken away to peoples own liking and yes would love to change or manufacture something for top but dont know e...

oh and as for solid /secure ( you jest ) it will be solid .......literally......... no tube in this construction and it may add half a pound in weight i can live with that

number 1 is ( i dont copy) i just wanted ideas like hole centres the technical bits IF THERE ARE ANY ??? ,, ..presumed they would be quite important ??????to get right angles for springs ETC ???? and also sizes to mounting points from pivots etc ....as for cost there IS NO COST its all STAINLESS STE...

from all these silly comments about b series 1800 in a moggy too heavy crap handling blah blah blah ...someone told me this and that well like mr plastic orange says dont knock it till you tried it ..and i just have.. it got it mot last week it handles and drives fine goes like a rocket and the brak...

ive got mg minilite alloys on at moment with 1 and 1/2" spacers suppose if you know offsets etc you will manage that quite easy

its a few inch shorter you need wheelspacers each side, just putting one on mine now, also handbrake cable different, needs modding of mgb one ,leaf spring brackets needed moving as mine were offset from mgb manufacturing fault (jig error was made on hundreds (commonly found on mg's when wide wheels...

thats what i wanted to hear phew !!!! thanks ... i can stop worrying now and throw it away cos i put hydraulic clutch in couldnt stop thinking what it could be or what id missed im a happy man

thanks it already has lock tab washer. will take off other side to confirm.. they are just a pain in the rear arnt they to put back together
