I used deks olje on mine and it is very good. Two part (soak coat then gloss coat) designed for boats but is soft and flexible so doesn't crack like yacht varnish does. It is quite soft but is very easy to repair. The advantage is the soak in coats protect the wood. say decks olay btw... from memory...

the fix does look quite good and has not ever leaked for me, the only drawback is you have to trim or bend the radiator top connector back a bit to get it to fit well, but as i said it doesn't leak. Unfortunately I dont have a digi camera or i'd take a photo for you.

If you get an old minor bottom hose and cut out the bent section you can use this. This works well because they normally die right at the bottom and also where the small tube comes in and you cut these bits out! very cheap, most of us have an old one knocking about and you dont need to machine anyth...

Kevin, I owned a 2dr before and had the same problem. I went and sat in the car when it was raining and the water gets in thru the side windows and runs down the b post, making the back passenger footwell wet. Its only a small rivulet so is hard to see and baffled me for ages. It also runs down the ...

Yeah baby

Cam, Could well be the prob... have had issues with the pump in the past, first ran rough after it stopped and I had to bash it to get it going again... Funny that it should be intermittent though? where did you get the uprated pump from? Kevin, Dashpot oil is OK - just below where the piston cowlin...

Rough running?

I'm running a 1275 A+ which has an LCB freeflow exhaust and electronic ignition but otherwise std Ital lump. Its done about 85k I think. Intermittently it will run rough and lack power (i guess timing). It is almost like its running on 3. However it only happens as you apply power, ie first third th...

easy fix...

Just remove the fan. It makes a lot of noise and is ineffective over about 20mph. If the radiator is OK you won't overheat as the minor is over-cooled anyway. I run a tuned 1275 A+ with std 2nd hand rad and no fan and it only overheats if you are idling in traffic for more than 30mins. You can alway...

From what I understand, saloons had 3J, 4cwt vans 3.5J, 6cwt vans 4J and 8cwt vans 4.5J (sought after by many!)
The measurement is from inside to inside.
