Why not try contacting the chap we bought Nico off. He sells battery clamps on ebay (winros1917) which he makes - also makes heat shields. He might be willing to make up a box for you.

Just reported this one, if they don't remove the advert I'll be a little peeved. I just had an ad for some 'used' (not but listed them as this in error) cloth nappies pulled within 12 hours.

Just wondering as my other half has been on about getting a Cornish kilt, but balked when I mentioned the pants thing. Muttered something about moving machinery (turbines & lathes in his case) - the Pot Noodle ad springs to mind. :D :D :D

I'm sure I will become used to doing that amongst other things :) It was just a little disconcerting after driving my little fiat which has very light accelerator/brakes to jump in the moggie where lead boots were needed (obvious room for improvement)

Only asked about the air filter as it's now sat in the shed (see I'm getting into minor mode already!) Oh not to mention a petrol genny in the back to power the ICE If my other half has his way I'll need one. He used to own a Landrover and had a thing about fitting spotlights and lots of other elect...

The mileage looks to be genuine as well as there were old MOT certs going back to 1990 which list mileage as 53K. One of the owners had insurance for only 1500 miles/year and the chap I bought it off only insured for 2000 miles. Also the MOT's list the car as being Grey or Blue previously which prob...

Oh well, bitten the bullet & Nico is now sitting outside my front door. Chickened out & my other half drove him home (although I did have a little drive around the village) He's not quite as shiney as the pics made out, the last respray was not the best of jobs, but it looks OK from a few fe...

Thanks to all regarding your comments, given that I think (novice that I am) it would need new hood, seats/covers, carpets, lead free head & chrome. Plus the passenger door has dropped & my other half noticed some iffy patches on the paint we have decided to pass on this one. He wanted £3500...

Hi to all - I am about to enter the magical world of the minor owner and was after some advice from the more 'experienced' amongst you  Our neighbour has a 1965 convertable (not genuine) for sale. Bodywork/chassis looks OK (not perfect), chrome bit rusty, needs new hood & interior is rough...
