rear axle leaking oil badly, have renewed brake shoes twice, simply because axle oil has leaked through the seals.

rear hub nut size...67 saloon

Hi,
I need to replace the rear bearings and seals of my 67 saloon. Can anyone tell me what size of socket I need to remove the hub nut. Also is either driver or passenger side reverse thread, if so which.
Many thanks in advance.

The car has been in 'bits!' from 1997 (well date of last tax disc) - When I got the car back from welding two y...
