Thanks Willie

I must have the mechanism around the wrong way,because it starts off partially blocking the hole but when i pull the realease it slide into the holefully blocking it and not away from it.

Will check tommorow

I can hit the rod because i have the radiator and grill off at the moment. when i pull the lever the mechanism moves but does not pop the bonnet up, the spring is still inplace, i have tried greasing the mechanism but am not sure if i have assembled the mechanism back correctly. surely when the mech...

Hi Any idea's I have recently re assembled the front of my Moggy, but have been unable to get the bonnet catch to work correctly,when i shut the bonnet when i pull the release nothing happens,it's all connected but alas it does not release,so i have to hit the rod that goes into the catch with a ham...

Hi

I have abronze faced speedo

Also have the float with the nut connection

I already have 3 wires connected on one terminal and 1 green on the other terminal.

Hi I am still struggling I have tested the fuel gauge float by shorting out the wire to the float onto a good earth; This should have caused the fuel gauge to register full. I then connected a good earth from the Speedo and then shorted out the 2 terminals on the back of the fuel gauge and this did ...
