The only sympton was brakes pulling to the right, thats why I thought they only needed adjusting.

I reckon most cars would shudder going at 60-70 in reverse.

There is a website out there somewhere that lists them all, and what they're used in/for, but I'm buggered if I can find it now.

Used to run with one of those on my old 1275GT a few years back. IIRC, screw it in to richen it, and out to lean it off.

I have an '68 Almond Green 2 door, and the paint has faded quite badly on it. You can see the difference if you lift up the screen rubber and compare the paint.

I'm pretty sure yours will be an AG car, with faded paint.

Mine doesn't even polish up anymore.

Update. I cleaned everything up, and made sure every connection I could get to (including those behind the dashboard) was cleaned too. All fuses were checked (they were all ok). The horn and interior light still refused to play. A few days later they started working. :-? Of course, I've not tried to...

Since it's been raining, stuff has been working. Luckily for the other road users of Nottingham, as I can now see where I'm going.
