Thanks for your reply. I managed to find a local firm to fit it in the end. They're called "S Phillips" and they're on Kentish Town Road, just up from Camden. I'd recommend them to anyone else reading this post - did an excellent job for £175 which I thought wasn't too bad.

Hood fitters

Need to fit a new hood to my Morris Convertible and just wondering if anyone can recommend a coachtrimmer/hood fitting garage in London who might be able to do this? My usual chap doesn't really do upholstery & trimming, just the greasy bits :) Also, any ideas how much it should cost? Looks like...

Which 1275 variant?

Hi there,

Was looking out for a 1275 engine and was just wondering what the options are. Is it necessary to get one of the older A series engines from a Marina or Midget, or is it possible to fit one of the newer A+ engines from 90's Metros & Maestros?
