Hi
I have a 1972 Traveller and I am having problems with it starting. It coughs and sputters, misfiring and blowing back. When it warms up it runs well. Pulling the choke out does not seem to make any difference. Could it be the timing is out or the choke not working?
thanks for your help

Protection for wings
Hi
My morris 72 traveler wings are down to bare metal. It is in daily use. I would like to protect them with something like finigins or wax oil. I can pressure hose them but I am not sure that they will dry out. Can I apply the products when the car is damp?
thanks

Washing a Traveller
Hi
I've stripped the wood on my traveller and re-varnished it with Sadalin. I have been using MER to wash it which seems to be stripping the varnish ( as it could have a solvant in it?) I am thinking of just using plain water and MER Polish - any suggestions
thanks

Steering Rack
Hi
I replaced my rack today - it all went well. I used a ball joint remover (£6.00) to split the joints. I needed another person to line up the bots from inside the car when refitting.
thanks

Replacing Steering Rack
Hi I need to replace the steering rack for the MOT on my 1972 Taverller because of play in the ball-housing. I've looked at the Haynes Manual and by reading the book it seems a simple task. Could you let me know if this is so? ( a step by step guide would help!) Do I just need to order a new rack? t...

Indicators
The indicators have stopped working on my wife's 1972 Traveller. This seems to be one side first stopped working then the other. My feeling is that this is the indicator stalk/switch possibly worn. Is there anything else that I should be looking for?
thanks

Fuse blowing
I have a 1972 Morris Minor Traveler. The problem I am having is that the 10 amp fuse keeps on blowing. This is the fuse that links rear lights etc. It seems to blow when I put the lights and wipers on. I have put a 15 amp fuse in. Is this going to protect the electrics. Is their anything else that I...
