Pushrods can be shortened and lengthened to give the opening characteristics needed for a particular application. Shimming of the rockers needs to be carried out first then the pushrod length needs to be determined to give the opening curve commensurate with the application needed.

No good just looking at journals they need to be measured accurately. I would very much doubt your main journals are still in spec with shells in that condition. Haul it out and have a measure up and decide from there what needs to be done. Let measurements guide you to success.

Depends what you are expecting from the modified cam if its a standard replacement then my OE grind is what you need. If its very good torque low and mid with an increase in the hi end its the RT cam. If its a sports cam with a torque bulge aroun 3.5 to 4.5krpm then the rs cam is what you need. Smal...

Damper oil is individual to the carb. No one grade will suit every carb if you want the best from your engine.
