Thank you but if I remember rightly. Red goes to 1, Brown and blue to 3 and White x 2 goes to 2 can't place a spare terminal.

I phoned ESM because it dawned on me I have bought the correct harness for my 1954 splitscreen offside speedo, of course that should have been the pull start, (no white with red wire) but mine is key start therefore I will have to run a wire from the ignition switch to the solen...

It seems a white with red wire goes to the solenoid. I have bought a new harness from ESM but no white with red wires but there is white with black wires, could this have replaced the original white with red?. Any help would be greatly appreciated Stu
