Re: timing chain tensioner
I looked on moss in France there is a picture, the crown is mine. There is no groove to put the tension rings.
I have called and confirmed that there is an intermediary release between tension rings and metallic mini tensioners.

Re: timing chain tensioner
Do you think I can rebuild like that and change by duplex chain when I received?
Because before to open my engine I have no problem with timing chain. Just refresh cylinder head and change ring and bearing.

Re: timing chain tensioner
Ok thank you for your valuable information.
I think I make an order for duplex chain.
The pictures of parts come from my engine.
The mixture of parts thus before my purchase.

Re: timing chain tensioner
Hi, I understood that it is a poor technique. But I would understand assembly. When I disassembled it had not tensioner.(on simple chain) I do not know how to put them. There 's no grooves on my gears. I already bought this parts and I need to restart quickly. Thank[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage...

OK thank alot for your quick responses.
I'll do that. I glaze bore and change piston rings.

Re: Roundness cylinder (ovalization bore) 1098cc
Thank for your answer
Piston size (at bottom skirt and perpendicular to shaft):
64.54 mm
Bore size are 64.62 and 64.60 (measurement perpendicular)
Then +0.04 mm for the maxime bore size

Re: Roundness cylinder (ovalization bore) 1098cc
OK thank you for the links. I Have measurement tools. In fact I want to know the maximum ovalization of bore for 64,58mm diameter (0.01 - 0.02 mm...?) I found 64,62 mm maxi for original bore 64,58 (0,04 mm more than original) Somebody can confirm the clearance of skirt: Its whrite on manual : Top of...

Roundness cylinder (ovalization bore) 1098cc
Hello, I'm looking for roundness tolerance and conicity on 1098cc. (I've 0.02 mm on mine) I just know the original size: 2.543'' (64.58mm) and the clearance between piston and bore: Top of skirt: 0.0021'' to 0.0037'' (0.025 to 0.070mm) Bottom of skirt: 0.0005"" to 0.0011'' (0.013 to 0.028 ...

Re: bubble master cylinder jar (new one)
Sorry, Im not sure to understand.
What is normal? To see bubble? Or it's normal that bleeding is hard?
See the bubbles disturbs me, but the real problem is the soft pedal on the first pressing and then hardened by pumping

Re: bubble master cylinder jar (new one)
Do you think the bubble can come from pipe?
It's strange because same when the back of the car is really high, I can't bleed any bubble. There is just brake fluid
