Re: Restarting a laid up Traveller - advice sought

Marvins Mystery Oil down there.
No it's not a joke a genuine product from the States available here for about £10

Re: Quietest paint removal tool

They also sell those items at Machine Mart.

Re using your compressor I have a 150 litre 3hp tank, and the air tools literally keep the motor running, so I don't think air tools are the way forward re noise reduction.

Re: Can someone please tell me the paint code for this colour?

I thought bronze green was the colour that the engines and gearboxes were painted in?

Re: Lowlight colours?

Thank you for your replies.

Maybe was it just the Australian market that did red?
I've seen photos in 2010 2011 of a red MM tourer down under.
I am stripping one back to bare metal and did find some deep blue in the roof guttering.
I didn't realise they were made in this shade.

Lowlight colours?

I am interested in finding out exactly what colours these rare little beasties were produced in. As far as I can find out officially the colours were limited to; Black, early Maroon, the rare Romain Green and a variation of Grey. However I have seen several photos in the owners magazine of them in a...

Rear window side window removal 2 door saloon

I have had a look on the various topics but could not find anything on how to remove the subject title. The time has come to remove, intact hopefully, the small rear window and side windows on my 1950 2 door. Is it a case of just pushing them out from inside the car, or is there a more technical way...

Structural integrity

This should open up a few debates! Interestingly having looked at a few Roof chops and cut up Saloons to Convertibles on a well known auction site. I ask the following, when does a car become structurally corrupt? If you cut a saloon up to make a convertible which seems common practice how does the ...

Re: What engine actually fits?

Thanks for info so far.

So as I understand the Marina or Midget will just bolt straight in.
Marinas seem quite rare now, so possible the Midget with the 1098 gearbox.

What engine actually fits?

Being new here, but having owned a couple of Moggys 20 odd years ago. I am looking for a project car but need help with what fits the engine bay. Looking around a 1959 onwards 2 door or van. I have read that an MG Midget 1275 bolts straight in but does a 1500? On eBay there are several engines adver...
