Wiper & indicator problems
Hi, the windscreen wipers have stopped working on my Series II Morris, I'm not very good at electrical stuff so would appreciate some advice about where to start find the problem. Also, the indicators aren't working - I know the wiring came loose, I attempted to repair it but they're not working aga...

Re: She won't start, please help!
Thanks everyone for all your helpful comments! She's starting fine now. Here's what I think happened- the initial failure to jump start was due to a loose earth connection at the battery. The short journeys I did weren't enough to charge the battery up so I was unable to start it the following day. ...

Re: She won't start, please help!
Thanks everyone!
I checked the earth connection from the negative battery terminal to the chassis, are there other connections I should check? I've got the jump leads on and about to give it a try - fingers crossed! If she starts, I'm off to get a solar charger!

Re: She won't start, please help!
Thank you, I was thinking I'd take her out for a longer trip this week, that's if I can get her started again! Wouldn't start at all today - not with the starting handle anyway. I couldn't try jumping this time as I didn't have a donor car. The fan belt seems tight. The earth cable seemed a bit loos...

She won't start, please help!
Hello! I have a '54 series 2 minor. I haven't driven her as much over the winter and when I tried to take her out yesterday, she wouldn't start. Wouldn't even turn over. I assumed it was the battery and tried jump starting but that didn't work so then I tried using the starting handle (first time I'...

Re: Preparing for wedding
Thanks for that, much appreciated. Is there a way I can test whether it's the cylinders? Could it be anything else? I just want to minimise any unnecessary work by process of elimination before I order parts etc! Also, if it is the cylinder, is there a specific type for the series 2 or are they the ...

Re: Preparing for wedding
Thank you all! I bought some T cut and polish so I'll do that, and good thinking about the front seat & cleaning the passenger doorframe! As for the front wheel, here's the story so far... I took her for a longish drive (about 40mins) and when I arrived, noticed a black liquid trickling out from...

Preparing for wedding
Hello! I bought a lovely '54 series 2 a couple of months ago and in one week's time it will be taking my sister to her wedding! I have set aside a couple of days next week to prepare the car but I'd appreciate advice in two areas... Firstly, getting the car looking good - The paint is a bit dull and...
