I'd be quite happy with these figures,maybe check for oil leaks,my 1969 2 door returns similar ones at 99K but I do have a couple of leaks which I havent got round to fixing yet.As to unleaded head its a question of do you want to spend the money,in the long term youll save on cost per litre.I fitte...

I've replaced the battery clamp with one made from thick plastic angle from B & Q.Works fine and no fear of shorting

Steering Wheel Nut

I am using a 3/4 Whitworth-7/8 BSF socket which fits perfectly.Mine is a 1969 two door saloon but this shouldn't make any differnce.Socket cost £3 in Wimborne Market but any good secondhand tool store should have one

Ive fitted MG Metro seats by bolting 2 pieces of channel from sill to sill the height works out OK. a spacer each side of the transmission tunnel is a good idea.Can send youphotos/sketch if you want.

Is it possible to obtain an ignition switch which has an auxilary position.
That is instead of off-ignition-start you have off-auxilary-ignition-start?

Flasher Unit 1969 Minor 1000

I had a flasher unit blow and replaced it with a new unit which blew after a day.I have recently fitted repeater lights.
Is there a relay fitted as well as the flasher unit?
