Can I just ask.....how does one remove the feet from the Ka seats? The "big" one at the rear is where I've started. Drilled out two of the metal studs that hold the foot to the seat runner, but there's another two that look very inaccessible. Also, is that a little weld on the side of the ...

Had rusty water leaking from the rad cap on my 53 splitty. The actual lip of the rad looks a little warped.....like someone's given it a clout at some point. :-? Was wondering....if I have to replace the rad, will the 1098 one fit? My current engine is a 950. wouldn't like to have to source a pretty...

I like that. How do you feed both ccts? Output from a flasher unit to the bulb, but how do you feed the solenoid?

Is that not what I had previously, apart from flasher units? I've got working, modern indicators. Someone has added a wire to each rear indicator which goes to the corresponding trafficator. That means the trafficators are wired in parallel with the indicators...all controlled by the indicator switc...

Good point. Other drivers will be expecting modern indicators.
No stalk on my steering column.....the old girl is a no frills model.

What type of switch have you wired them to? Did you use a relay......or two?

My car is MOT exempt....just as well.

I've now got a single wire coming out from under each rear trim (connected to each trafficator.) Don't know if I could trust myself to attempt at wiring into my existing swit...

948 engine.....no idea what clutch is in there.

Just checked. Brake pedal doesn't seem to move when clutch is depressed.

Tried a short maiden voyage today. Cheez......never realised how heavy the bloody clutch was. Am I looking at clutch replacement? I'll have leg muscles like Linford Christie at this rate.

The bonnet and badges are Series MM. What engine has it got and what is the chassis number? The trafficator problem is probably a loose wire, bad earth. You will have to take the side card off to get access to the trafficator. A light spray of WD 40 and continual operation of the switch will gradua...
