Re: Re spray- I wish!
After months and months of "I'll have it primed tomorrow and finished by the weekend', I got a text on Friday afternoon saying my muggy was finished and needed collecting at 2pm the next day!! Well, needless to say, I haven't picked her up, due to the fact a can't magic a trailer out of my ear ...

Re: Re spray- I wish!
The price was £2500. We paid 1250 up front, spent 3 days striping n then he said he needed more money. We gave a further £500, he said he would prep, stonechip bonnet. In boot, under wings etc, and glass blast wheels, grill doors boot n bonnet OTC, he has lightly sanded one door and small section of...

Re: Re spray- I wish!
Hi Terri, If you let people on here know whereabouts you are located maybe someone from that area could help you out with the storage of your dismantled car, until you can get someone decent to prep / respray her. Best wishes, Mike. Thank you Mike, I'm in maidstone, I live in maidstone in Kent, I'm...

Re: Re spray- I wish!
Hi, thanks, he has been spraying for atleast 10 yrs in area, however, I'm now doubting he is legit, or capable of more than a quick squirt on a bit of filler. I'm worried he is not doing as agreed, in fact he is doing nothing, and I feel small claims and removing my moggy may be the only way, but th...

Re spray- I wish!
My moggy went in for her makeover 3 weeks ago, we bought new wings and a lot more, my partner and I paid half up front, then 4 days into him getting my car he asked for more money saying he was skint. Between us we have spent 7 days stripping her and first fix fitting new wings and more. All the spr...

Re: Vehicle manufacre date
In stead of paying the £40 they research and find the build date for £5, which means I can then buy a full certificate later if my moggy was built before the mot threshold date, although I will get her mot'd anyway for my peace of mind.

Vehicle manufacre date
Hi, how do I go about finding out the date my Morris was manufactured please.
As the reg date is obviously later than the date it was made.
I've read a w online articles about scams with heritage certificates, and would like to be sure and safe.
Thanks, all help appreciated.

Windscreen washer switch
Hi, I'm new to this site, also after many years of waiting, I'm now the proud owner of a beautiful little 1960 Moggy called Betty. The seller was a little unhelpful, I have no literature but am by no means thick, however, as much as I search, I cannot find the switch for the windscreen washer jets??...
