right this is my old minor, its running negative earth and was running negative earth when i sold it to chris, so unless hes unknowingly reconverted it, it still is running negative earth.

hi , mate of mine has a spare mini engine would i be able to use the oil filter block to oil filter piece from this and would it be a straight swap as id rather have a spin on filter than the bolt on can thing, also would i just use a mini oil filter?

yes i brought these myself figured it was a better deal than 20 for each door, its one massive piece and you just cut it to size, massive difference in road noise and less draught.

that would be excellent but the fitting would take place outside my house but i would be able to borrow jacks and axle stands so thats its all safe. there would off corse be free cups of tea provided. do you have a phone number so i can speak to you properly and not just online? cheers

just check my front brake drum and low and behold its a 7 inch drum, i worked this out by measuring across the face that meets the wheels which came to a little over 7inches but nowhere near 8 inches.

YES! Much better than 7" drums. Of course - 9" Wolseley drums are even better - but not common these days....... And you don't need to take the drum off to measure if they are 7" or 8" ......... how do i measure them without taking off the drum do i just go by looking at the bac...

the main problem is i used to drive a corsa with excellant brakes and i now drive a morris minor with errrr not masivly great brakes that pull left or right depending on the day lol. almost have to stamp on the pedals with almighty force before i get any great braking (passed mot like this) and ive ...

and once ive removed the wheel the drum should just slide off with a bit of encouragement.

is there an obvious way to check if my front brakes are 7 or 8 inch or will i have to remove them and measure across?
