Re: OMG how much, and you can't drive it!
Dusting may be easier but I seem to get more welding done than dusting!
I have 4 of them, my girlfriend got them for me, birthdays and christmas etc, 2 door, white traveller, 1000000th and convertable, 1/12th scale all full of dust along with the other 150+ moggy models I have, rather weld tho!

Am I famous to? Had a coil go on me about 2 year ago, deffinately coil, checked 3 times, so from now on I think the saying is "most of the time its not the coil"
but i agree very rare for it to be the coil, so much so was the last thing i checked.

So if its not only way to go is a transporter, dont forget depending when you passed your driving test (you mentioned a young member) you need to do a trailer test to. As othe...

I have one of them, brilliant.
But most useful gizmo for me telescopic stick with magnet on the end, was put to good use the other week when my girlfriend dropped her moggy keys down a grid! Lucky for us it worked.

Re: VIN PLATE
You can buy a set of punches you just hit with a hammer from machine mart etc, but have a practice first cant always get them in line, unless you make a little jig and buy the right size, or do what other people have done and get it engraved, may not look original but will be very neat. Part of my j...

Re: Boot lock advice
forgot to say, well it just came back to me but check before you do this, to take the lock out of the handle you have to file the little notches in the square bar to remove the bell shaped metal cap and then you can proceed as above, and then refit and put the notches back will a punch or similar. g...
