Dusting may be easier but I seem to get more welding done than dusting!
I have 4 of them, my girlfriend got them for me, birthdays and christmas etc, 2 door, white traveller, 1000000th and convertable, 1/12th scale all full of dust along with the other 150+ moggy models I have, rather weld tho!

try your door lock in the boot not to lock it etc but to try the profile of the blank, if it fits and your key is an fs or fp then least you know the blank type, then post this with the 3 numbers and if someone on here has the same key maybe they would be kind and get one cut from thier local key cu...

Am I famous to? Had a coil go on me about 2 year ago, deffinately coil, checked 3 times, so from now on I think the saying is "most of the time its not the coil" :wink:
but i agree very rare for it to be the coil, so much so was the last thing i checked.

If a car is being towed, even on a frame it must have tax, insurance etc (if its in the free section dont think it will be!) Yeah I was thinking that as I tried it, brass keys for the moggy but the key ring is steel, thank god!

I have one of them, brilliant.

But most useful gizmo for me telescopic stick with magnet on the end, was put to good use the other week when my girlfriend dropped her moggy keys down a grid! Lucky for us it worked.

You can buy a set of punches you just hit with a hammer from machine mart etc, but have a practice first cant always get them in line, unless you make a little jig and buy the right size, or do what other people have done and get it engraved, may not look original but will be very neat. forgot to say, well it just came back to me but check before you do this, to take the lock out of the handle you have to file the little notches in the square bar to remove the bell shaped metal cap and then you can proceed as above, and then refit and put the notches back will a punch or similar. g...

yeh try wd40 as above, if all else fails and before getting a new lock try this, if you strip the lock down so you have the barrel out, there are about five little brass teeth, for want of a better word, when the key is inserted all the teeth should be flat to the barrelallowing it to turn, if not w...

Mine has loads of drain holes! But thinking about it I need that repair panel (and many others) but as above no holes.
